What Makes Tsuruhan Special
Drawn in-house every day:
a fragrant first dashi
Tsuruhan's dashi is drawn carefully from niboshi, bonito and kombu. Its clear aroma and deep umami gently support the flavour of the udon, giving even an everyday bowl a special finish.
In harmony with the dashi:
udon with a smooth finish
Tsuruhan's udon is made to pair with the dashi. It is characterised by a smooth finish and a satisfying bite. Whether served hot or cold, the umami of the ingredients layers naturally.
Beyond udon:
a full range of set meals and Japanese dishes
We also offer tempura, set meals, rice bowls, sukiyaki and other Japanese dishes to enjoy alongside your udon. Hearty at lunch, relaxed at dinner, with a selection to suit any occasion.
